Gatineau has experienced its first Igloofest!

From February 13 to 15, 2025, Place des Festivals Zibi was transformed into a massive icy dancefloor, welcoming over 13,000 festival-goers who braved snowstorms and freezing temperatures to take on winter in style.

We like to believe that the Outaouais region needs more bold concepts. Winter can bring its share of doubts, but this first edition proved it: people want to experience something strong, no matter the season. Seeing so many festival-goers answer the call confirmed that it was a success.

Orkestra’s experiential department had the chance to lead the event organization alongside Multicolore, and we can say this: our field and logistics teams rose to a huge challenge! Bringing Igloofest to Gatineau to close out Winterlude was a bold move… and the organizers are proud of the result!

A huge thank you to everyone who made it possible: Multicolore, Canadian Heritage, the City of Gatineau, Tourisme Outaouais, and the Quebec Ministry of Tourism (MTO). And most importantly, thank you to the festival-goers for creating the absolutely wild atmosphere that made this first edition a success.
